Visit to the vet today

Thought Gypsy was suffering from Menstrual problem as we still see blood on the papers. It's been a month. Booked appointment with Dr Sing today and reached there within 20 mins.

Seeing Dr Sing busy cleaning up a Pom.'s ears with seriousness. After which it was Gypsy turn. From here we realized she was suffering from Urinary Tract Infection.

Urinary infections are usually treated with antibiotics and they can have serious consequences if not treated immediately. Its symptoms are the following.

• Do they do much effort to urinate? (True)
  


• Dogs that suffer from urinary infections have desires to urinate even if the bladder is almost empty. They usually take more time than normal and they make an effort to obtain it, but not always can. (True)
  


• Pain when urinating? (I can't tell but that's what doctor said)


• An infection can damage and irritate the interior of the urethra. When urinating dogs feel a burning. Surely they will lick its genitals when finished to ease the itching. (True)


• In his urine obscure or with blood? (True)


• Dogs suffer this type of infection usually bleed when urinating, for which the urine acquires a reddish tone. The urine usually has a bad fetid odor. (True)

Gypsy was given anti-biotic (syrup), multi-vit (syrup) + anti-fungus & yeast solution (For washing gypsy fore paws) + another 2 packets of pills.

The doctor is also impressing us with the how to "maintain dog's anal gland". It's really stink and gross! Eeee...

Spaying of gypsy cost $250. Dr Sing is recommending us for Ear surgery for our dog. He explained to us that it is for our convenient and minimize ear's infection. Meaning we do not need to clean up their ears. But is really cost a bomb. $300 for a ear! Wow... If $400 for a pair of ears, I will definitely opt for it. After checking Gypsy ears, Dr Sing commented her ears are alright and clean.

Total bill for today is $135.

Chubby is having her PMS. It's her 4th day! Hope she will be doing fine.
